The empty Space
In every edition of A Perfect Day Tekenshow we create an empty space for an artist that we overlooked or did not know. Anyone can enter this open call, you do not have to be professional, or be an adult. The winner will be invited and your work will be revealed at the opening of the exhibition. From then on you are part of the list of artists of that exhibition. The jury will consist of the curators of the show, Paul Faassen, Olga Scholten.
Image requirements
We ask you to send us drawings + text. Drawings with only handwritten text are permitted but be aware drawings without text are excluded. The work you send us can be funny, sad, angry, or any emotion we animals have, it should show us something about our hassles in daily live.
Technical requirements
Please send a max of five drawings to someone@aperfectday.amsterdam. Separate images in jpg or png and around 1MB per file are our favorites. Wetransfer or packaged files are a hassle so please just send everything by email.
Text requirements
Please make sure you state your full name, country, and age, plus the year the works were made including their sizes and if needed the material. Make sure this information is written inside the email and is not an image file.
